3 day Sundance Hui & Inipi gathering

January 2023

When: Noon: Friday 20th – Sunday 22nd January (3 days / 3 Inipi’s)

Where: 22 Hewitts Road, Woodend, Christchurch

What to expect: Arrive Noon Friday, build & dress lodge, set fire , Sweat Sunset.

Saturday: Sunset Inipi

Sunday: 1 x Inipi – Sunrise.

Communal tidy up after sweat Lodge, Leave site.

What to bring: Please bring: food to share, tents. Plan to be self sufficient due to limited cooking facilities. Be prepared to help with setup & breakdown. Towel, sarong for women. Togs for Men. Water. KOHA

September 2022

When: Noon: Friday 23rd – Sunday 25th September (3 days / 4 Inipi’s)

Where: 232 Blue Spur road, Hokitika

What to expect: Arrive Noon Friday, build & dress lodge, set fire , Sweat late afternoon.

Saturday: 2 x Sweat Lodges: am. & pm.

Sunday: 1 x Inipi – Morning.

Communal tidy up after sweat Lodge, Leave site.

What to bring: Depending on location: Please bring: food to share, tents. Plan to be self sufficient due to limited cooking facilities. Be prepared to help with setup & breakdown. Towel, sarong for women. Togs for Men. Water.

Community Inipi Sweat Lodge Ceremonies

NORTH ISLAND

When: 3pm – Sunday the 21st January 2023 :

Where :The Family Farm, Hollington Way,11 Newton Road, RD10 Whangarei

directions: on arrival please come all the way straight down the driveway all the way to the bottom and follow the driveway around to the big red and silver shed where you are welcome to park .

We will be lighting the fire at 3pm – Lodge 6pm

bring Koha and Kai for after the Inipi everyone is welcome.

Where: 159 Mokomo road, Omaui YMCA, Southland

When: TBA

What to expect: Arrive Noon Friday, Build & dress lodge, set fire , Sweat late afternoon.

Saturday: 2 x Sweat Lodge am & pm.

Sunday: 1 x Inipi – Morning.

HUI & inipi – 22nd May 2021

Hi Sundance Whanau, i hope you are all well and making the most out of this beautiful autumn.

To all who haven’t heard. Danielle asked me for the sundance whanau to come together and have a Hui at my place on Saturday the 22nd of May.

She will come in the morning and like to talk about Sundance in the North Island and afterwards to sweat.

I hope to see you and looking forward catching up.
