Dear Sun-Dance family
Leonard Crow Dog (Kangi Shunka Manitou), Sundance elder/chief of the Paradise grounds in Rosebud, South Dakota, USA received and acknowledged a jar of Manuka honey from ‘our’ Tree, earlier this Month during the final day, SunDay (7.8.16), of their SunDance.
This token symbolises and recognises our greater Sundance roots, of Uncle Pat and Crow Dog’s direction then and six years ago when he said “Go Home, Carry On!”.
Koha was additionally offered and accepted with extended thanks to: Rewa, Sue & Simon.
Huge thanks to the clean up team!
Thank You: Sue, Jessie, Vic, Stacy, Ben, Lakota and all those who stayed behind and left the communal kitchen looking like this:) We LOVE You!

Cedar Call
The Call is out, for Four Cedar seedlings to be planted at the Sundance grounds, to replace the Four used in the previous round of dances.
West Coast, NZ are invited to donate One seedling.
Southern, NZ are invited to donate a seedling.
East, NZ are invited to donate One seedling.
North, NZ are invited to donate a seedling

Sundance 2016 is fast approaching and no doubt you are making your own personal preparations. Sundance is realised by all Sundancers committing to give time, energy and resources to facilitate a spiritual and cultural exchange for peace and prosperity in Aotearoa.
Vision Quest dates are: Friday 5th February 2016 to Monday 8th Feb (Waitangi Day). Meet Sundance Grounds 10am.

7 Singlets, 15 x T-Shirts and are now available, just order what you need for now, ensuring enough to go round (contact us), we have sizes: small, medium, large, XL & XXL. (All-Black, shirts made in the Indian subcontinent.).
Cost: $22 each. (i’ll send you a bank acc,#.to deposit funds into when your sizes & quantity are confirmed)
